Sleep Lab
Fellowship trained at the UCLA Medical Center in Sleep Medicine,
Dr. Zuberi is qualified in the diagnosis and management
of Sleep Disorders. At Central Florida Neurology, Certified
Sleep Technicians conduct the all-night polysomnography
(sleep recordings) for the diagnosis of sleep disorders
in our state-of-the-art on-site sleep lab, designed to provide
the comfortable feel of a relaxing hotel room.
Over 12 million Americans suffer from sleep disorders,
according to the National Institutes of Health. If untreated,
sleep apnea can cause heart attacks, high blood pressure
and strokes.
Sleep apnea is a serious disorder that can cause memory
problems, weight gain, impotency, and headaches, and may
be responsible for job impairment and motor vehicle crashes.
Dr. Zuberi can dianose and treat this dehabilitating, potentially
life-threathening condition.
